Lakemont is excited to announce a great opportunity for parents to take some time out for themselves later this summer—all while helping area students to spread their wings with scholarships to Texas vocational schools, colleges, and universities!

The Fort Bend County Fair Association's (FBCFA) 21st Annual Style Show and Luncheon will be held at the Safari Texas Ranch in the beautiful Magnolia Room on Aug. 28, 2010, located at 11627 FM 1464, Richmond, TX, 77407. The doors will open at 10:30am, lunch is served at noon, and the style show begins at 12.30 p.m.  Some of the fashion models included in the 2010 Fort Bend County Fair will be Queen Candidates, as well as local personalities.  Last year's attendance was more than 300 strong so grab your tickets and plan to be a part of this great scholarship opportunity at the Annual Style Show!

The FBCFA has awarded 460 scholarships to students since 1979, and the proceeds from last year's fund, including the style show, provided 30 Fort Bend County students with $2,000 scholarships.  More information about the Fair, Scholarships, and Fair Queen requirements can be found on the FBCFA website also, www.fbcfa.org.
