Katy’s Heritage Society presents ‘All Aboard Katy’, a public display of art. This unique display of public art encompasses the history of Katy while involving the local community. Through out the Katy area there are ‘heritage trains’ on display.
Individuals, organizations, and businesses can all participate in this event. The newest train to be put on display belongs to CHRISTUS St Catherine’s hospital. Their ‘heritage train’ was designed by artist Catherine Gauldin and dedicated this past Thursday and is now on display on the corner of Fry Road and Brittania Street.
These ‘heritage trains’ allow the public to participate in the cultural life of Katy and to enjoy the arts and the benefits of it. For more information about “All Aboard Katy” visit the Katy Heritage Society’s homepage.
